Wanted : An exceptional director to join The Ipswich Hospital

The search is on to find an exceptional person to join the Board of The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust as a non-executive director and to share their passion for patient care.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to join a first class board of directors and make a real difference to patient care, at a very exciting time in the hospital’s development as we work towards becoming a Foundation Trust,” explained Mike Brookes, hospital Chairman.

“We’re looking for someone who can bring board level experience, ideally in a large organisation in the commercial sector, and who has specific expertise in marketing, customer focus and customer satisfaction,” he added.

This is one of the largest general hospitals in the east of England and serves more than 326,000 people who live in and around east Suffolk. It provides a full range of hospital services and some specialist services such as spinal surgery and cancer surgery.
